I love it! Great closing! I have to tell you, just as you started posting your chapters, they seemed to be mocking Trump exactly, in that cartoonish way, and more so every day. When I first looked at the
cover picture, I thought to myself, I wonder if Cecil knows the backdrop didn't cover everything behind it. Clever! Some of it was over my head because I have a hard time watching the news when he is the topic of conversation, and I cannot take him seriously, although I probably should! Nah~
In my scenario Trump should already be the King but it is, of course, wishful thinking. I am laying out a satirical story but all based on true enough past events and future projections. There are still 5 more chapters to the end of the story, all written already since before I went to London. I don't plan to revisit any of it at this time. I would have to go back and revise earlier chapters when he was still president. I'll have to make 'historical revisions' later once this nightmare is over.
Well, at least things wouldn't change so quickly. Good thing you left the ending open on this one. It is really difficult to believe this person is actually living and is President. He will have earned his place in history books. If he wants to have his legacy published, it would be a doozy! and not in a positive way. I keep thinking of him as a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He always said bad publicity is still good publicity.
I would pay good money to see the annals of Palmbeachonia made into a film!
That would make a great movie!
