As much as I love words describing meaning(s)...(I've worked in bookstores for 18 yrs), and writing, communicating verbally, for me it's been creating art that I was able to express whatever I needed to visually with objects, symbolism, metaphor yet leave any meaning up to a viewer to realize their own. I have fun with my titles of the pieces which can give some of my own meaning to a piece but can also be esoteric, surreal, mysterious, purposefully nonsensical. Excellent article again, Cecil. Art can exist for its own sake bringing to mind that clich', "It is what it is".
