Good system, but I would just HAVE to add a title of some sort to jog my memory, especially if I were a prolific artist like you. Even if the title is ephemeral.

See, this would jog my memory. Is there a reason why you don't? Just curious..............
As mentioned, I see each work as merely a specimen that needs to be kept track of in terms of archival inventory. Dreaming up titles, while nice, just slows down the organizational process. Plus titles are fluid, they can change. The inventory number remains the same.
Wow, that's a helpful post, I keep procrastinating on a good system, even if my works would/will never leave my studio. It feels like it's part of taking it all serious.
Such perfect organization. I got overwhelmed just thinking about what I have ahead of me to do. Last night I had finished my 190th piece since a few yrs ago when I started to create art again after a long absence. I had taken quick photos of some of the pieces but these photos were for sending to an ex-friend and not professional looking at all. Many years ago I hired a professional photographer and had a physical portfolio of the work. I'm so behind the times with making a website. The procrastinator in me shutters with what I know needs to be done. Ick.
Yes,I like this prompt…I do like titles too!
Just sayin…part of the arting! 😉
For many a title is an important element of orientation for the viewer. Still, that is a separate issue.
