Funny, the first post I got today from you, "No.0 - Introduction to the Land of the Imaginal" and this one, reminded me so much of this article I read from a Newsletter I subscribe to. I experienced this often as a child, shifting experiences that seemed so real. I used to try to explain it to my mother who kept telling me my version didn't happen. You might enjoy this article: "Reality shifting opens portals to the weirdness of our world." Here's the address: https://psyche.co/ideas/reality-shifting-opens-portals-to-the-weirdness-of-our-world, or for anyone else who reads this.

By the way, you handled the shifting of scenes really well. Smooth as silk, just like when I was a kid.

I am guessing you are back in NM now from your travels. I don't know how you do it. Sheesh.

I’ve never had a full body massage, either. The closest I came was a series of foot massages for plantar fasciitis. Those were heavenly!

It sounds like you are being good to yourself. Was Thailand on your original itinerary or an afterthought? I used to travel alone a couple of times per year, just to experience local color and architecture, but since COVID and after a few surgeries, I’ve not felt so brave anymore. The heart is willing, but the body? Not so sure.

Have a good trip back. 🚎🛣️✈️

Still in Thailand for a couple more days. Should be back in LA in the evening of Dec 23. Then the 12 hour journey by van back to Albuquerque. Got my first ever body massage today. That was pretty cool. For some reason I don’t think I have ever gotten a massage before. The closest thing is chiropractic adjustments.
