I don’t know about you, but I am very happy with how American citizens have spoken in the election yesterday. It is the result I would have expected from Americans under the circumstances. However, I have been surprised and disappointed in the past. But these results give me renewed hope.
With whatever happens over the next two years - and I am sure there is a lot of crap coming down the trail - I at least feel that the new congressional makeup will act responcibly and in the best interest of America and the world within their capacity to do so.
It will take an unbelieveable amount of time and effort and vision to attempt to straiten things out and start moving in a better direction.
There will need to be a return to actual law and order and an accounting, and there will need to be repair and improvement and it will not be easy. Some will call it revenge, but no, it will just be the law catching up to all of the criminal behavior that has been going on.
There has been an anti-american coup in the making for some years and this must be investigated and crushed. Those in power this last two years have been acting with complete impunity as if they would never be held to account. That must come to an end. It is obvious who the scoundrels are.
Let us hope for the better outcomes the vast majority of us would like to see at every level of government.

Immediately shut down the immigrant concentration camps - it is cruel and costly.
Restore USAID
Stop the I.C.E. programs
Defund the war in the middle east.
Aide Ukraine - hobble Russia to bring that war to a conclusion.
Repair our international relationships
Impeach those who need to be removed (there are many)
Make laws to prevent corruption and protect Americans
Claw back all ill gotten gains
Get big money interests out of politics - politics are for the People
Investigate everything
Deal with the corrupted Supreme Court
Restore women’s rights
Restore heathcare - medicare for the whole population
Reopen rural hospitals
Restore and improve the social safey net
Solve homelessness - Homelessness in America? Are you kidding?
Undo all the damage and make things better while we are at it.
Undo all of the shit Trump has been doing to our capital
Reform the Executive Branch.
Fix the Justice Department
Resist anything Trump dreams up in his delusion.
Get rid of the ridiculous tarrifs.
etc., etc, etc. and about 200 more issues.
There is a lot of damage done and shit to clean up. This will take not a year or two but a generation or two.
The care for and economic stablity and educational opportunities of the citizenry should be considered a National Security priority (above many other things).
Let’s roll up our sleeves and get with it.
