Excellent distinction between the market and reality - thanks for this clarifying post!

Right now I hear the sound of the refrigerator motor, the thermostat clicking and my husband grumbling quietly to himself as he wanders around the internet.

And by the way, thanks for the description of taking a moment to listen, Next time I will also ask people to then leave a comment of what they are hearing like you did. that would be interesting to read if a bunch of people left that as a comment. Could almost be little poems.

Great post Cecil. I'm especially observing this, since the series "Masters of the Air" premeires tonight. CREW 713 is a completely different type of film, so I would waste a lot of energy being jealous, which is also a time-waster. too! I just gotta stay in my own lane and let my own film speak for itself.

When our kids were young, and we were talking about how much a painting got at auction, they made a comment about the artist being dead, they not getting the money! Ah, young minds!

Yes, a true observation. The top of the market is not about the artists, it is about the artifacts and the stories that the collectors are trading among themselves.
