I love the piece I sent to the museum and keep forgetting to try to make another in that vein as it’s not like anything else I’ve made.
I still haven’t been to the V&A east yet as their opening was the same day as our pop up. But I will in the coming weeks and think about your words on collecting.
yeah and Brian got stuck with their baggage check-in which was temporary (it will be improved) but tedious and time consuming. So don't bring a backpack or whatever.
A good excuse to pop back into Hackney Wick. We arrived fifteen minutes before opening and were first in line. By the time the doors were unlocked the line was quite long. Time your arrival!
I worked at the Soane museum for sometime, a magical place especially on the days its closed to the public. Sounds as if you had a successful and pleasurable visit to the UK.
Your perspective and poetic expression starts my day with delight and reflection!
Grateful!

https://om-2024.blogspot.com/search/label/Emily%20Marbach Yes, that is a great piece. I love your description that gives such a powerful edge to it. So cool we got to hang out! I'll poke around for those kid photos.

Very interesting. It reminds me of a physical memoir, a visual and tactile representation of what once was. I tend to collect photos of old farm and industrial equipment parts I hope to try to make into pastel medium artwork someday. Interesting photos Christine. Did you take those photos?
No, I got them off an equipment auction website.

Yes, great visit. Loved it. That must have been interesting working in that museum. Would love to hear about it some time.
