Here is a little video with some music added. I am figuring out how to use CapCut which is an editing app for video and photographs.
It was another full day of collaging at the studio today. I did the daily challenge with the group and had the idea to give everyone a project of making a three-dimensional collage. So everyone got a board and signed their name on the back and then each person put on a piece of Collage material in a three-dimensional way by folding the paper and gluing it down to the base in the center and then pass it to the next person so that every person‘s piece was built by all participants so each Collage had 13 separate parts glued to it and we ended up with these very interesting three-dimensional collages, that were as much as six or 7 inches deep, of folded or rolled or crumpled Paper. I shot a short video of the group of pieces after we finished all of them.
About 4 o’clock in the afternoon I went out for a long walk and got back to the studio at about 6 PM.
The plan for this evening was to have a little conference that included Justine discussing her history of working in Collage and how she applies that to her commercial work as a photographer, then Les gave his experience of becoming a Collage Artist and discussed how he got started during the pandemic and decided to start the Contemporary Collage Magazine, then he and I had a conversation discussing my work. We had a few extra people beyond our own group, but Les was disappointed that quite a few more Collage Artist didn’t show up from Berlin since he had put the word out to all the different Collage groups in Berlin and basically nobody showed up.
However, it went very well I think and afterward Les and I went out for dinner across the street and had a hamburger and french fries. Got to bed about 1:00am.

I have been tagging around the area with fluxfaces on paper surfaces.
