I find it gets easier to become or choose 'disinterest' in things but I can also get it confused with procrastination as I'm prone to be/do/am. As for what I want or am interested in, that's easy for me and almost requires very little or no thought. But I feel I have a strong or rather aware of what I know I do not need/want. Excellent food for thought again, Cecil.
The question remains, "What organ is one using to determine interest?" The world is full of creative results from interests the mind has determined to be true. This beautiful world is a playground for the soul, just as it is. Before deciding interest and disinterest, I suggest that one should center oneself in the don'tien, two inches below the navel and three inches toward the spine, for a truer revelation of interest. What do you think, Cecil?
My mother used to say, “Christine, you are as changeable as the wind”. I’ve always “tried on” different ideas, and yes, wasted time and effort, however, I have learned, as I haven’t as much time left in this life, I relegate a lot of ideas not so much as a primary ambition, but as adding texture and color to the overall design. I have learned recently that as I am tempted to try on different things, the question becomes, am I willing to commit to something on a more long term basis just because I am sure I can do it? Most Of the time the answer is no and it goes into my “resources” file for future speculation. We live in a world that wants us to stick to one thing, but a diamond is not beautiful without many facets. You can change your mind often, which I do, and as a result my life is not focused on one thing, but is colorful with many facets. That’s just me. I never found one thing to focus on, specifically, but it is more like a collage, bits and pieces that form the whole. Nice article concerning perspectives, they can be as changeable as the wind, though.
Yes absolutely. The intuitive core, the center of balance. The place that tells you the exact next step. Then you need know nothing else wouldn’t you say Amin? The life of the dervish.
Wow! That's it, just wow!
Wonderful piece of advice Cecil, knowing when to walk away is a skill in itself.

That was a beautiful thoughtful chunk of words to chew on after our week in London… appreciate the depth.😘🫶✌️🙏
