I am writing this on Monday the 4th of November but you will be seeing it on Thursday the 7th. Here is a shot of the painting studio at the moment as I prepare for the next few months of winter darkness.
I will be taking my computer, a couple of books for research and my sketchbook and heading over to Texas this week to make it to exhibitions with two of my dealers who are having anniversary celebrations. On the 9th of November Laura Rathe Fine Art in Houston will be having her 25 year anniversary and the next weekend November 16th William Campbell Gallery in Fort Worth will be having their 50 year anniversary.
I will then spend some time with my kids and with my grandson Henry then we’ll head up to Saint Louis for Thanksgiving at my brother’s house and celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday. Then back to Texas and then back to the studio in ABQ. So I am going to be pretty busy for the rest of November.
Additionally, I just got off of a zoom call with Les Jones as we work out the details for the 2025 collage residency. It is looking very exciting and I hope you might want to join us in London for a hunt and gather collage safari.
Looking forward to seeing you in Funkytown! Trying to set up a meet up at our house with Brittany❣️
