Henry’s First Collage

I helped Henry make his first collage on one of the 8 × 8 panels for the show in Dallas.

I covered the panel with a layer of yellow paper. Then…

Henry told me what went where and I put the glue on the back and he glued them down.

Then we kept going until he was happy. I told him it was for the show in Dallas but he liked the idea that he could hang it on the wall and now he wants to keep it and not put it in the show. So we will see what happens.

Somehow Henry knew exactly where everything should go and even though he had a little help he takes full ownership of the piece which is great. His main strategy was covering up the yellow background with papers he thought were interesting.
