I like to think I more or less keep up with the news but I heard the following post by Lucus Bean in which he mentioned that DOGE fired hundreds of thousands of federal workers.
This is such a sobering digest of the damage inflicted by DOGE under the current administration. It’s not the type of article I normally read all the way through, but the data is so shocking that I couldn’t look away. Thank you for shining a light on this particular aspect of “making America great” that has globally destroyed lives, livelihoods, and faith in the U.S. — will continue to affect all of humanity for years to come. Yes, YES I will vote; I’ve never felt more compelled to take a stand against this disastrous mockery of “leadership.”
Like you Sylvia I would not usually slog through such a long article either but wow! Once you put attention on it and the ramifications, it is astonishing the damage that has been done. And this is only one of many, many different chains of events as you know.
