A Week of Poetry
One of my main intentions, other than making collages, was to meet up with my asemic writing friend Marco Giovenale who is a poet and asemic writer. We met for the first time and spent the day this past Sunday at the big flea market. He met me with another friend of his, the Swedish poet Gustav Sjöberg and his wife Anna. They are in town doing a conference on Ivan Illich.
On Tuesday evening Marco arranged for us to have a gathering of 6 of us who are all asemic writers. we exchanged some works and made some things over dinner - pizza. That was a lot of fun.
Then Marco invited me to a poetry reading event for Friday evening at a lovely very old home from the 15th or 16th century made into a newly created foundation - the Silvia Fiorucci Collection - The Società delle Api - at Via Gregoriana 40.
