Hi Gang.
I have been quite busy this year so far and it took me a while to set of the 2026 Inventory Blog for works coming into the Archives. I was compelled by the need to register the works incoming for the Visual Poetry and Color show in Los Alamos next month. So, I have more or less caught up with myself on getting almost everything coming in this year registered.
I have so far just put the basics - images, whose art it is and an inventory number. I will still want to go back in and add more detail and links to people’s web portfolios but at least the basics are in place.
As you may or may not know or remember, my archives project (ongoing since the mid 1990’s) overall is called the Ontological Museum concieved as the umbrella name of the archives. So all objects entering the collection have an overall universal inventory number regardless of what department they are a part of such as OM.2026.###.
My mental structure is something like this:
The Ontological Museum
DEPARTMENTS
The International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction
The Fluxmuseum
The Archives of the Eternal Network (for mail art and mail correspondence)
The Department of Photographic Records (DPR) (mostly collected 20th Century silver geletin prints of a vernacular nature, snapshot photography, etc. (attributed to Ignatius Maximus Anonymous)
The Exquisite Family Records Archives (EFRA) (the Story Telling, Narrative Department mostly for the DPR and the DLR)
The Department of Linguistic Records (DLR) (for asemic writing, poetry and written matter in general such as books and publications and the odd interesting antique documents I sometimes acquire)
and various imaginary sub departments
I consider the archives as my lifelong overarching art work: a Gesamtkunstwerk - a "total work of art".
Everything coming in for the Visual Poetry and Color Show is considered to be in the department of the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage and Construction.

Mine is on its way! I have a tracking number so I can let you know when it will be near to arrive.
That content is astonishing! What a collection of fine works. I intend to look through it carefully and allow myself to be inspired. What a gift you’ve created. Thank you!
